Hi, I have an issue to record a transaction. I use 3rd party app like deliveroo just eat. So at weekend all the sales generated are deposited into my account deducting commission plus vat on commission. So my sales figure is for example 1000 pounds but after deduction and vat, I receive 700 pounds in my account. So I am not sure how to account for the commission and vat as they are not reflected in my bank account as deliveroo takes the money because sales money goes first to deliveroo.

Hi, can I have a question relating to prepayments and accruals? In your video you are using paid in March. I am not sure you mean exactly paid invoice for March.for example we received and posted invoice to March. But the the due date to pay this invoice is in For instance in April. Which is for 12 months insurance. The prepayment needs to spread the cost for 12 months. Terminology invoiced or paid is a little bit confusing. Is the focus on expense and not actually paid in March? Right? Thank you in advance if you answered Andrea
